| Quesnel, BC, Canada - July 16, 2009 Richfield Ventures Corp. ("Richfield" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that it has mobilized a drill camp this week to its recently optioned Blackwater-Davidson and Dave properties in the Nechako Plateau 163 km southwest of Vanderhoof by road. The drill, provided by Falcon Drilling Ltd. of Prince George, is being mobilized next week. The company is also improving the 14 km long access road into the property from the Kluskus logging road. Drilling is scheduled to begin the week of July 27th. Some 15 holes totaling 2550 metres are planned at locations selected by Richfield staff in collaboration with a group of exploration geologists who are familiar with the property area. Two holes will test the historic Gold Zone at depth because good gold values continue to the bottom of historic drill holes at the Gold Zone. Other holes will test the continuity of gold mineralization between the Gold, Silver and New Zones, the three areas of known mineralization. Three holes will test an IP resistivity target in the middle of the three known mineralized zones; this target is interpreted to be caused by silicified, altered felsic volcanic breccia. Silicified, altered felsic volcanic rocks host the gold and silver mineralization at the New Zone on the property. Two of the planned holes will test a till geochemistry gold target identified during earlier work. The property was the subject of significant exploration programs of 34 reverse circulation and 38 diamond drill holes between the late 1970's and 2006 with exciting results. For example one of the best historic results from the Gold Zone is 6.3 metres grading 14.28 g/t gold and 26.7 g/t silver and 2.44 g/t gold over 82.3 m in hole DAV-11. The Silver Zone returned several long intervals of silver mineralization, including 94.9 metres grading 20.6 g/t silver in hole DAV-15, and 83.9 metres grading 29.1 g/t silver in hole DAV-17. Silver Quest Resources Ltd. drilled five holes and discovered the New Zone, located about 500 m south of the Silver Zone, during fall 2005. Hole DAV-05-02 returned 140.5 metres grading 1.43 g/t gold and 3.4 g/t silver, including 14.0 metres grading 4.93 g/t gold and 17.1 g/t silver. A follow-up hole drilled by Silver Quest during winter 2006 intersected 8.0 metres grading 10.7 g/t gold and 42.8 g/t silver, including 2.0 metres of 35.5 g/t gold and 153.0 g/t silver.
