| November 4, 2009 -- Quesnel, BC: Richfield Ventures Corp. (TSX-V:RVC) "Richfield" or "the Company" announces assay results for the first of three additional drill holes on the Blackwater project. The hole was collared on ground optioned by Richfield from private parties (NR May 12/09). BW 57 was drilled west at -50 degrees from the same setup as BW 46, a vertical hole, which intersected 207.25 metres grading 1.06 g/t Au with 5 g/t Ag (NR September 21, 2009). BW 57 intersected siliceous breccia for most of its 259.69 metre length; it averages 0.71 g/t Au and 5.2 g/t Ag over this length. In the upper part of the hole a 30 metre interval averages 1.57 g/t Au with 13.1 g/t Ag. The top 133.7 metres in the hole averages 1.02 g/t Au with 8.2 g/t Ag. Another interval, of 20 metres, lower in the hole averages 1.69 g/t Au with 10.1 g/t Ag.
Quality assurance Richfield has implemented a rigorous quality assurance/quality control program at the Blackwater property using best industry practice and supervised by Dirk Tempelman-Kluit. The program includes: chain of custody of samples from drill to laboratory. Drill core is sawn in half at the property and for each sample half of the core from one metre intervals is placed in plastic bags and sealed. A standard sample supplied by an outside independent laboratory, a blank sample or a duplicate sample are inserted into the sample stream every tenth sample. Samples including the blanks and standards, are shipped by courier to Eco Tech Stewart Group Laboratories in Kamloops, B.C. Duplicate samples are shipped by courier to Acme Laboratories, Vancouver for analysis.
